Overview

Bigger, faster, simpler.

Three words that are normally not found together, but we can now add four more: cost competitive per hectare. The new WRT 900 trailed rake is a powerful and high capacity rake that offers working speeds in the 12 – 24 km/h range, without the risk of damage to the drive components, thanks to its revolutionary hydraulic direct drive.

The crop is quickly, yet gently combined into windrows thanks to the ‘lift then sweep’ action of its flexible polyamide tines.

All other rotary rakes on the market whether 2 rotor, 4 rotor or 6 rotor sweep first and then lift the steel tine arms on a specialist cam track, this action is satisfactory in most crop types however it results in very high & premature wear on bushings and steel parts if the fields have had compaction in autumn, winter & spring from livestock.

The sweep then lift action also result’s in more contaminants in the forage especially where the wheel tracks of the mowing tractor & raking tractor overlap.

Large adjustment width range 7.05 metres to 9.55 metres (2.5 metres of adjustment) but precise swath width for 1.8 m to 2.4 m pick ups.
Excellent swath formation, due to the operating principle of the rotors no roping of crop occurs.
Guide wheels positioned outside the rotor work to guide the rake over or through changes in terrain.
Thanks to the short operating length of the polyamide tines the lifting & sweeping of the crop is always close to the centre point of the drum.
Increase harvest capacity whilst minimising soil compaction. In offset mode the tractor doesn’t have to run in-line with the centre swath.

Insurance, we cover the machine fully insured over the lease duration on the basis that the tractor that is pulling the Rake is insured.
End of season servicing, we cover end of season servicing free of charge, no labour will ever be charged, the only thing that you will get an account for is on consumable parts that are changed if requested by the customer.
These machines are as close to a zero maintenance machine as you will get in the grass harvesting equipment industry. Whilst no supplier can claim there machines are 100% free from maintenance required our warranty cover is very comprehensive.
Warranty covers all major component parts, hydraulic pumps & hydraulic motors.
On ex hire machines warranty cover is for 2 out of the 3 years of a 3 year subscription. On new machines warranty cover is 3 years out of a 3 year subscription.
